I am a mother of two, an educator, and a firm believer that it is never too late to start a new chapter. Based in Pakistan and with deep ties to the Middle East, I understand the unique financial challenges that families in our community face.

Whether you are navigating the costs of living abroad as an expat or trying to build a stable home base here at home, I know that money is more than just numbers. It’s about peace of mind.

From Survival to Strategy: My Personal Journey

For a long time, I thought I understood money. I did what many of us are taught to do: I trusted the system and focused on my family.

But life has a way of teaching you the lessons you didn’t know you needed. At 50—a time when most people are looking toward retirement—I found myself at a crossroads. I had lost almost everything. Not just the physical resources, but the sense of financial security I had spent decades building.

I am currently homes-chooling my youngest son, Ali, for his O-Levels while managing our household. But behind the scenes, I have spent the last few years quietly rebuilding a life from the ground up.

I founded Monetary Leaf for one reason: I don’t want you to have to learn the hard way like I did.

My Philosophy

I don’t believe in ‘get-rich-quick’ schemes or complicated jargon. I believe in Halal Wealth, strategic planning, and the power of shared knowledge. I’ve seen the highs and the lows of financial life, and I’ve learned that the best investment you can make is in your own understanding.
